Spinning Jennys entertained at a fundraising event at St Leonards Church, Deal on Saturday 11th October 2014.

The event was to raise funds for the church and was organised by FOSL (Friends of St Leonards).  It was a lovely evening of music and song.

Spinning Jennys entertained at Bourne Hall, Epsom on Saturday 4th October 2014.

This was part of the 'From Town to Trench' event.  It was a free weekend of family activities commenorating the centenary of World War 1.  The event was organised in partnership with Bourne Hall Museum and 10th Essex Regiment living history group.

This was part of the Deal Folk by the Sea Festival.

It was a lovely afternoon and good to hear the audience joining in with the songs.

It was a rememberance afternoon for WW1.  Although a sad occasion it was good to see so many people in period costumes.

Deal With It Poppy Meadow Event at Deal Station 8th July 2014

Spinning Jennys (minus Jo) played at Deal Station on Tuesday 8th July 2014 as part of the Deal With It Poppy Meadow Event.  This coincided with the centenary of WW1.

Thanks to all the poets for their readings, and for all those who turned up to watch and join in with the singing.
